The main idea behind Sebastian App, was the creation of a personal assistant similar to a 19th century butler endowed with artificial intelligence.

The challenge in this project was to create an intuitive, simple and elegant app for a topic as complex as home automation, from scratch and with a low budget.

The complex nature of the app required over 70 screens to cover user onboarding, Wi-Fi setup, virtual device setup, and much more.

I developed a modular design system based on reusable components, where each component can be rearranged and combined with others maintaining the coherence of the design and interface patterns, in such a way that the user can intuitively recognize them.

The biggest problem that Sebastian App has to face is that it is trying to compete with the most powerful companies in the international market. Companies with practically no budget limits and with the ability to use truly cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence -real- and voice recognition systems -the type of interface that is truly most appropriate for this type of product-.
